Cookie settings

We distinguish two categories. Your choice is stored only in your browser (localStorage) – it is not transmitted to us.

Technically necessary

Required to operate the site – always active, no consent required (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG): the NEXT_LOCALE cookie for your language choice and your cookie choice itself (localStorage).

Statistics (Matomo)

Anonymized visitor statistics with Matomo, operated on our own server in the EU. Only loaded after your consent; it then sets the cookies _pk_id (13 months), _pk_ses (30 minutes) and possibly _pk_ref (6 months). No disclosure to third parties.

Withdrawing consent

You can change your choice at any time using the button above or via “Cookie settings” in the footer. When you withdraw consent, we delete the Matomo cookies in your browser and stop collecting statistics.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can also view and delete stored cookies at any time in your browser settings. Further information can be found in our privacy policy.
