Your rights

You have the right at any time to obtain information free of charge about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the processing, as well as the right to rectification or erasure of this data (Art. 15–17 GDPR). You also have the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and the right to object to the processing of your personal data (Art. 21 GDPR).

Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. For any data protection questions, you can contact us or our data protection officer at any time.

Right to lodge a complaint

In the event of violations of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for our company is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW), Postfach 20 04 44, 40102 Düsseldorf, Germany, phone +49 211 38424-0, email poststelle@ldi.nrw.de, www.ldi.nrw.de.

Hosting

This website runs on a server operated by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. Emails sent via our contact form (SMTP mail relay) and data backups also run under the same contract with IONOS. Personal data collected on this website is processed within the European Union or the European Economic Area.

A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS; under IONOS's terms of use it forms part of each booked product.

Server log files

When you visit this website, information that your browser transmits is automatically collected and stored in server log files (browser type/version, operating system, referrer URL, requested page, time of the request, IP address). This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and security of the website).

Contact form and email

If you send us a request via the contact form or by email, your details (name, email address, optionally company, message) are forwarded by email to our central mailbox and stored there in order to process the request and in case of follow-up questions. The form data is not stored on the web server itself. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your request relates to the performance of a contract or is necessary for pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (your consent when submitting) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling requests).

Applications you send us via the contact form are processed to carry out the application procedure (§ 26 BDSG, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).

Fonts

The fonts used on this website are served locally from our server. No connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google) is established when a page is loaded.

Cookies and local storage

Technically necessary are the NEXT_LOCALE cookie (your language choice) and the storage of your cookie choice in your browser (localStorage). No consent is required for this (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). All other cookies (statistics, see “Web analytics with Matomo”) are only set with your consent (§ 25 (1) TDDDG). This website does not embed any third-party content (no maps, videos or social media plugins).

Web analytics with Matomo

If you consent to the “Statistics” category in the cookie banner, we use the open-source web analytics software Matomo to evaluate and improve the use of our website. We operate Matomo ourselves on our server at IONOS SE in the EU; the data is not passed on to third parties.

The following is processed: your IP address, shortened by two bytes before storage (e.g. 192.168.xxx.xxx), pages visited and time spent, referrer URL, browser, operating system, screen resolution, language setting, time of access, clicks on external links and the submission of the contact form (without its content). For this, Matomo sets the cookies _pk_id (13 months), _pk_ses (30 minutes) and possibly _pk_ref (6 months). Raw data is deleted after 14 months at the latest.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via “Cookie settings” in the footer; the Matomo cookies are then deleted.

Links to our companies

This website links to the websites of our group companies. Only when you follow such a link do the privacy notices of the respective website apply.

Storage period

Personal data is deleted as soon as the purpose of processing no longer applies, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. commercial or tax retention periods) prevent deletion.

Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to reflect changes to our services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
