Josef L. Rameckers Maschinenfabrik
GmbH & Co. KG

Mechanical engineering – tradition meets innovation

Josef L. Rameckers Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG specializes in the manufacture of machines. With its modern machine park and an excellent team, it covers the entire value chain – from raw material to the finished machine.

The value chain extends from sheet metal processing with laser cutting and robot-assisted laser welding, through sheet metal forming such as bending and rolling, to joining processes such as welding.

In addition, the company operates a modern turning and milling center and a paint shop, and covers the electrical side with its own control cabinet construction. Final assembly and international service complete the picture.

Vulcanization & microwave technology

Gerlach Maschinenbau
GmbH

Rubber machines with passion

Gerlach Maschinenbau GmbH is the specialist in rubber vulcanization. Founded in 1971, Gerlach has become a market leader in the continuous vulcanization of sealing systems.

Gerlach is a competent and holistic partner: from project design and development onwards, process optimization is at the center. Its own research and development department develops new process technologies and, together with customers, optimal vulcanization strategies. In its in-house technical center, Gerlach also develops heating strategies for all kinds of materials – always asking which form of heating is the most effective and efficient for the product in question.

Gerlach supports its customers throughout the entire project: from conceptual consulting and technical evaluation of the task to selecting the optimal machine and plant technology. The machine concept is then developed together with the customer in Gerlach's in-house mechanical and electrical engineering. Drawing on hundreds of completed customer projects, an extensive portfolio of system solutions and partly standardized process solutions is available.

At the core are always the energy forms hot air, infrared and microwave. This makes Gerlach your reliable partner for projects involving the vulcanization of rubber and silicone – with a holistic approach to consulting and implementation.

VulcaRAMix

Simulate vulcanization instead of trial runs

VulcaRAMix is cloud-based simulation software for rubber processing, developed by Gerlach Maschinenbau GmbH. It calculates temperature and crosslinking profiles of elastomer profiles before the first metre is extruded.

Its scientific basis was developed with the Institute for Plastics Processing (IKV) at RWTH Aachen University and Kunststofftechnik Paderborn (KTP). VulcaRAMix runs in the browser and on iOS and Android.
